Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport pax up 10% in Feb-2016
Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport reported (17-Mar-2016) passenger numbers up 10% - traffic highlights for Feb-2016:
- Passenger numbers: 3.3 million, +10.0% year-on-year;

Sydney Airport: "We were delighted to welcome the inaugural Qatar Airways flight, touching down in Sydney on 2 March. The daily Doha-Sydney service will be operated on a 335-seat Boeing 777 aircraft, providing an additional 245,000 seats per year. The service will provide passengers with connectivity to more than 150 destinations via Doha in addition to providing greater air cargo capacity. Qatar Airways is a three-time Skytrax Airline of the Year winner and will provide passengers with more choice on one of the fastest growing airlines and youngest fleets in the world."
