Sydney Airport revenue up 11.7%, EBITDA jump 13% in 1Q2010

Australia's Sydney Airport revenue up 11.7% - financial/traffic highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010:

  • Revenue: USD211.6 million, +11.7% year-on-year;
    • Aeronautical: USD88.1 million, +17.8%;
    • Aeronautical security recovery: USD16.5 million, -1.4%;
    • Retail: USD47.6 million, +10.0%;
    • Property and car rental: USD34.5 million, +7.7%;
    • Ground transport and commercial services: USD23.9 million, +11.0%;
    • Other: USD1.1 million, +1.3%;
  • Operating costs: USD38.3 million, +7.3%;
  • EBITDA: USD173.2 million, +13.1%;
  • Revenue per passenger: USD24.21, +2.1%. [more]
