MAp: "April traffic was impacted by the closure of large parts of European space as a result of the volcanic ash cloud and the earlier timing of Easter on the pcp. Whilst Sydney has delivered a pleasing increase in passengers, owing to a particularly strong domestic performance, traffic at our European airports reflected the airports' closures over a five-day period. Brussels and Copenhagen have now returned to full operations and there is not expected to be a permanent impact on traffic", Ms Kerrie Mather, MAp Chief Executive Office.
