Sydney Airport faces with 'more restrictions than any other top 25 gateway airport'

Australia's Sydney Airport CEO Kerrie Mather, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (07-Aug-2013) Sydney Airport has more operating restrictions than any other top 25 gateway airport in the world, but is benefiting from larger aircraft and technology, transforming the capacity utilisation of the airport. LCCs are utilising the airport's infrastructure "incredibly efficiently" but some policies are "hamstringing" the operations of legacy/full-service carriers.
