SWISS experienced a marginal delay in the delivery of its first A350-900 due to bottlenecks from seat manufacturers and Airbus, with the aircraft now expected in early Oct-2025. The second A350 is anticipated in 2025, and three more are scheduled for 2026, gradually replacing SWISS' A340-300 fleet by early 2028. Deployment will begin on A340 routes, with fleet optimisation planned as deliveries progress1.
