Sasol and Topsoe previously said it would prepare to wind down its Zaffra joint venture, while continuing its SAF technology licensing collaboration under a more tailored approach to projects and market development.1 SUSTAERO also licensed Nextchem's NX Circular gasification technology for the biomass-to-syngas section of its Canadian wood-waste SAF/eSAF project, with start-up targeted for 2030 and potential to scale capacity up to four times.2
