Air Transat extended its suspension of Cuba services until 20-Jun-2026, citing an ongoing fuel shortage on the island.1 WestJet Group previously stated most Cuba services would remain suspended until Nov-2026, while Sunwing Vacations and Vacances WestJet Québec planned to resume packages to Varadero and Cayo Coco from Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City as of 20-Jun-2026.2 Air Canada also kept Canada-Cuba services suspended until 01-Nov-2026 due to an aviation fuel shortage.3
