SunExpress fleet backfilled through 2025: CEO

SunExpress CEO Max Kownatzki, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit World & Awards for Excellence, stated (21-Nov-2024) the carrier has backfilled its fleet through 2025 by extending operating leases and wet lease agreements. Mr Kownatzki said the impact of delivery delays is "huge", noting SunExpress has 132 aircraft on order.
