Techo Takhmao International Airport was scheduled to open on 09-Jul-2025, but the start date was postponed to 09-Sep-2025 due to unfinished work. An official inauguration is scheduled for 20-Oct-2025. The airport will replace Phnom Penh International Airport and is expected to handle 13 million passengers per year in its first phase, increasing to 30 million by 2030 and 50 million by 20501 2.
