SpiceJet finalised an agreement to lease one A340, with delivery expected by the end of Sep-2025 and plans to transition the aircraft from a wet lease to a damp lease model for enhanced flexibility and cost savings. It also anticipated delivery of 18 leased Boeing 737s during the winter 2025/26 season, including four 737 MAX 8s, and was in discussions for a second A340 lease1.
