Spanish strikes officially called off

Spain's unions representing AENA workers confirmed they have voted to accepted the pre-agreement reached with AENA and have called off 22 days of planned strike action over the peak summer travel period (Typically Spanish, 25-Mar-2011). Some 80% of AENA employees took part in the vote, with 70% of those voting in favour of a deal which protects jobs and wages in the planned partial privatisation process.
