Southwest Airlines would 'love' more access to Mexico City International Airport

Southwest Airlines MD business development David Harvey, speaking at the CAPA 2017 Americas Aviation Summit, stated (04-Apr-2017) the carrier would "love more access" to Mexico City International Airport. The carrier currently operates from Houston William P Hobby Airport to Mexico, according to OAG. Mr Harvey said increased access would not only enable the opportunity to expand services from Houston, but to launch routes from Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles.
