Southwest Airlines CEO Bob Jordan said the LCC delivered "significant" earnings growth and margin expansion in 2Q2026 despite a "volatile fuel environment", including USD900 million of additional fuel expense year-on-year, and it planned to keep optimising its network, product offering and pricing1.
