Southwest Airlines 'losing money on every single flight': CEO

Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly, via a video post on the airline's official blog, stated (26-Mar-2020) the carrier's "load factors are at levels we've never seen, and I can assure you we're losing money on every single flight, and big money". He noted Southwest is unable to sustain this indefinitely, and said the carrier is "really now living day by day". Mr Kelly also commented that while the carrier does not "have any plans to furlough anyone", it is unable to "promise that that won't happen".
