South African Business Confidence climbs indicating recovery in economy

Rand Merchant Bank stated South African business confidence climbed to its highest level in two-and-a-half years in 3Q2010, indicating the recovery in Africa's largest economy has gained momentum (Bloomberg, 06-Sep-2010). The index increased from 36 in 1Q2010 to 47 in 2Q2010.
