Some Asia Pacific airlines have over-ordered aircraft: Cebu Pacific chief executive adviser

Cebu Pacific Air chief executive adviser Mike Szucs, speaking at the CAPA Fleet & Finance Summit, said (02-Mar-2017) he believes some Asia Pacific airlines have over-ordered, commenting: "personally I don't think some of these orders can be flown by these airlines". Mr Szucs said while passenger demand may support the orders, airport and air traffic infrastructure in Southeast Asia will not be able to handle the growth. Mr Szucs said: "I think people have over-ordered and the leasing company concept is a function of risk mitigation".
