Solenta Aviation Mozambique previously confirmed in May-2025 that it planned to resume scheduled services under the fastjet brand, having received approval for its business plan and air operator's certificate from the Mozambican Civil Aviation Institute. It stated its three Embraer ERJ145 aircraft had arrived in Mozambique and highlighted prior operations for tourism, mining and gas sectors, as well as earlier fastjet Mozambique services between Nov-2017 and Oct-20191.
