Smiths Detection previously supplied HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX scanners and iLane A20 units to Osaka Kansai International Airport, and said it had deployed 96 HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX scanners and 181 iLanes at airports in Japan.1 Smiths Detection also expanded its agreement with Fukuoka Airport to install seven HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX Model S scanners and iLane A20 units at the international terminal by end-Mar-2025.2 Fukuoka Airport earlier selected Smiths Detection to install 12 HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX scanners and 12 iLane A20 units at its domestic terminal, with completion expected by end-Mar-2024.3
