Avia Solutions Group sold SmartLynx Airlines to its current management and a Dutch fund as part of a broader strategy to consolidate its European air operator certificates into three brands, and planned to merge and rebrand SmartLynx Airlines Estonia and SmartLynx Malta AOCs, while exploring further efficiency within its European network. It also outlined optimal fleet sizes and expansion plans in Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand by end 20251.
