Skymark Airlines yield down 5% in FY2012, sees improvements in FY2013

Skymark Airlines reported (11-Jun-2013) the following unit revenue/cost highlights for 12 months ended 31-Mar-2013:

  • Yield: JPY12.19 (USD 14.7 cents), -4.8% year-on-year;
  • Revenue per ASK: JPY8.44 (USD 10.2 cents), -17.3%;
  • Cost per ASK: JPY8.10 (USD 9.8 cents), -3.6%;
  • FY2013 (ending Mar-2014) forecast:
    • Passenger numbers: 7.2 million;
    • Load factor: 74.5%;
    • Yield: JPY12.18 (USD 14.7 cents);
    • Revenue per ASK: JPY9.07 (USD 10.9 cents);
