Skyguide launched a consultation process on up to 220 potential redundancies by end-2027, citing economic pressure, rising personnel and system costs, uncertain revenues, European efficiency targets and complex internal structures; personnel costs totalled about CHF382 million in 2025, from CHF576 million expenditure.1 Skyguide also planned to cut its executive board from nine to five members from 01-Jan-2027 and created a chief of staff role reporting to the CEO.2
