Singapore Changi Airport T5 construction to commence in 1H2025: PM

Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, via his official website, announced (06-Sep-2024) construction of Terminal 5 at Singapore Changi Airport will commence in 1H2025. Mr Wong said T5 will add capacity for an additional 50 million passengers per year, on top of Changi's current capacity of 90 million. He added: "Besides additional capacity, the government is also working closely with our international partners to further liberalise our air services agreements, so that airlines can mount more flights, and expand Changi's network".
