Singapore Changi Airport announces Sep-2011 traffic surge

Singapore Changi Airport announced the following traffic highlights in Sep-2011:

• Passenger numbers: 3,817,720, +12.5%;
• Cargo volume: 154,359, +2.2%;
• Aircraft movements: 25,513, +16.4%.

LCCs accounted for a 25% of all passenger traffic at Changi in Sep-2011, a 26.0% year-on-year increase. Traffic on full service carriers grew 7.1% during the same period, accounting for 75% of total passengers. Year-to-date traffic is up 11.3% to 34.2 million.
