Singapore Airlines to commence Singapore-Canberra-Wellington service in Sep-2016

Singapore Airlines announced (20-Jan-2016) plans to commence four times weekly Singapore-Canberra-Wellington service on 20-Sep-2016, subject to regulatory approval - see Route Changes Table for more information. The airline will operate the route with Boeing 777-200 configured with 38 business class and 228 economy seats. Virgin Australia will codeshare on the route between Canberra and Singapore, subject to regulatory approval. The route will be the first nonstop connection between Canberra and Wellington and the first scheduled international service at Canberra Airport.
