Singapore Airlines sees mixed signs: improved demand, but may not be sustainable, says CEO

Singapore Airlines CEO, Chew Choon Seng, stated the current recovery in demand may not be sustainable (Bloomberg, 20-Nov-2009). Seperately, however, Executive VP, Huang Cheng Eng, stated the airline has seen a pick up in cargo demand in the past two months, with this current up tick expected to continue (Reuters, 20-Nov-2009).
