Seattle-Tacoma International Airport pax up 13% during the first four months of 2016

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport reported (19-May-2016) a 12.9% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers during the first four months of 2016. Sea-Tac Airport senior operations and customer service manager Daniel Zenk said: "The Port of Seattle is proactively working to improve the customer experience at checkpoints where we can and working with the TSA to manage wait times with our record passenger numbers. While these added contractors and other changes will help in the short term, we realise the long solution to the growth at Sea-Tac is more TSA staff, more open lanes and more K9 units. We will continue to work with our federal elected leaders to maintain the level of service our customers expect at the nation's fastest growing large airport." [more - original PR]
