Scoot CFO says forward fleet planning 'boils down to how long-term is your perspective'

Scoot CFO Long Jian Ng, speaking at the CAPA Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 2016, said (04-Mar-2016) forward fleet planning "boils down to how long-term is your perspective." Mr Ng explained: "We take a very long-term view because we believe the current price level for fuel is not going to maintain for the next decade, so if you look at the longer term perspective the economics [for new aircraft] will make sense."
