Apollo Global Management’s subsidiary Bidco agreed a recommended cash acquisition of easyJet valuing it at about GBP5.7 billion, with the board (advised by Evercore) unanimously recommending shareholder approval via a court-approved scheme, targeting completion by end-1Q2027.1 easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou said his family concert party (15.31%) supported the deal and provided irrevocable undertakings, electing for the unlisted share alternative.2
