Scandinavian Mountains Airport opens with BRA and SAS seasonal services

Sälen-Trysil Scandinavian Mountains Airport opened (21-Dec-2019) on 21-Dec-2019, with BRA - Braathens Regional Airlines operating the airport's first service from Malmö. BRA and SAS will serve the airport from Dec-2019 to Apr-2020, with operations to peak at 12 times weekly during winter 2020. The airport is the first new airport in Sweden in 20 years. Saab Digital Air Traffic Solutions is providing the onsite camera tower in Sälen and digital air traffic control services from its remote tower centre in Sundsvall, under a 10 year agreement.
