Saudi Air Connectivity Program CEO: Long range narrowbody aircraft are 'a great opportunity'

Saudi Air Connectivity Program CEO Majid Khan, speaking at Routes Asia 2025, stated (26-Mar-2025) the deployment of long range narrowbody aircraft by airlines is "a great opportunity for us". Mr Khan said such aircraft create the opportunity to "develop the thinner routes into the Saudi market" and can help to "open a lot of new markets", such as secondary cities in China or Europe, and support destinations in Saudi Arabia such as Madinah. Mr Khan said the aircraft "can really help us" achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 targets.
