Saudia to receive 30 new aircraft and retire 18 in 2017

Saudia confirmed (17-Jan-2017) plans to take delivery of eight A320ceos, 10 A330-300s, five Boeing 777-300ERs and seven 787s in 2017, beginning with the arrival of one A330-300 Regional in Jeddah on 26-Jan-2017. The airline also plans to retire 18 aircraft in 2017, including 777-200s. The deliveries and retirements will reduce the carrier's average fleet age from 5.87 to less than four years.
