SAS' order for 45 Embraer E195-E2s, with purchase rights for 10 more, marked its largest direct jet order since 1996, supporting its long term fleet renewal to boost efficiency and reduce emissions. Deliveries are planned from late 2027 over about four years, valued at approximately USD4 billion, and will enhance growth opportunities from its Copenhagen hub and broader network1. The carrier also planned to receive two new A350s in 20262.
