SAS Group pax up 1% in Sep-2013, load factor down

SAS Group reports (07-Oct-2013) the following traffic highlights in Sep-2013:

• Passenger numbers: 2.7 million, +1.1% year-on-year;
• • Scandinavian Airlines: 2.4 million, +0.3%;
  • Wideroe: 269,000, +9.5%;
• Passenger load factor: 73.9%, -2.6 ppts;
• • Scandinavian Airlines: 74.5%, -2.6 ppts;

SAS: "In line with SAS guidance, currency adjusted yield (Scandinavian Airlines) in Aug-2013 was down 6.1% and RASK was down 5.2% versus previous year, due to the increased number of longer leisure routes during the holiday season.
