Saratov Gagarin Airport handles first scheduled passenger services

Saratov Gagarin International Airport handled (20-Aug-2019) the first scheduled passenger service since opening, operated by Pobeda with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. All services were transferred from Saratov Tsentralny Airport to the new airport. Saratov Tsentralny Airport confirmed its closure at 08:00 on 20-Aug-2019. The new airport also handled its first international service to Antalya. The airport customs service increased capacity sevenfold to 270 passengers per hour.
