Aena Brasil commenced renovations on a pedestrian bridge in front of São Paulo Congonhas Airport, including access lift modernisation scheduled for Mar-2026.1 Brazil’s São Paulo State Government previously stated the Line 17-Gold metro line serving Congonhas Airport was due to commence operations in 2H2026, linking to the 5-Lilac and 9-Emerald lines and targeting 100,000 passengers per day.2
