The airport planned to commence terminal renovation works in 2027, with EUR105 million allocated for terminal reconstructions scheduled for completion by 20331. Preparatory work for the new terminal was underway, and a groundbreaking ceremony was scheduled for 2Q2026, with the project including expansion of Departure Terminal 2 and a new Arrival Terminal 12. The airport invested in modernisation projects in FY2024, including terminal development planning3.
