Safran committed more than EUR1 billion to expand its global LEAP engine MRO network, with the Hyderabad facility part of a broader strategy that included new or expanded sites in Brussels, Casablanca, Querétaro, Villaroche and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, aiming for 1200 annual shop visits by 2028. The Hyderabad centre was expected to enter service in 2025 and support local operator needs, with significant investments in workforce training and localisation1 2 3.
