Sabre: Airlines need to understand customer behaviour to justify price difference
Sabre senior director of operations research Sergey Shebalov, speaking at the CAPA-ACTE Global Summit, stated (27-Oct-2016) the right mix of additional revenue versus base revenue depends on the type of airline and the customers they serve. He explained that if airlines learn to understand their customers better and what they value in addition to transport from A to B then they will be able to justify the difference in price for different segment of customers.
