Vasil Levski Sofia Airport previously stated Ryanair planned Sofia-Lamezia from 29-Mar-2026, alongside new Sofia-Marrakech from 30-Mar-2026 and Sofia-Turin from 31-Mar-2026.1 Wizz Air also planned to grow Sofia capacity in summer 2026, including increasing Sofia-Lamezia frequency from twice to four times weekly.2 Wizz Air also outlined broader Sofia growth for 2026, operating 10 A321neo across Sofia and Varna and holding a 33% market share.3
