Russian carrier's pax up 13% in first 10 months of 2011

Russian Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) reported Russian airlines transported 49.4 million passengers, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year, in the first 10 months of this year, according to the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation (25-Nov-2011). Details include:

  • Passenger numbers: 49.4 million, +12.8% year-on-year;

The FAA is forecasting a 12% to 15% increase in passenger numbers to 64-66 million in full year 2011.
