Russian airlines report 30% jump in pax in May-2010

Russia's Federal Aviation Agency reported (25-Jun-2010) the following traffic highlights in May-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 4.8 million, +30.1% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 2.3 million, +25.7%;
    • International: 2.4 million, +34.6%;
  • Passenger load factor: 76.8%, +3.8 ppts;
    • Domestic: 72.0%, +1.9 ppt;
    • International: 80.2%, +5.0 ppts;
  • Cargo volume: 82,290 tonnes, +44.3%;
    • Domestic: 21,512 tonnes, +22.8%;
    • International: 60,778 tonnes, +53.8%.
