Russia to introduce airline delays and cancellations legislation

Russia introduced legislation to the State Duma to make Russian carriers responsible for flight delays and cancellations (Russia-IC, 20-Apr-2011). The draft legislation also outlines compensation for flight delays from RUB10,000-24,000 (EU241-591) per passenger, depending on flight distance and time of delay.
