Russia names top five pax airlines in first two months of 2012

Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency reported (27-Mar-2012) the following top five airlines by passenger numbers for the first two months of 2012:

• Passenger numbers:
  • Aeroflot: 2.3 million, +30.0% year-on-year;
  • Transaero: 1.1 million, +33.9%;
  • UTair: 1.0 million, +70.1%;
  • S7: 740,340, +14.3%;
  • Rossiya: 473,437, +27.9%;
• Passenger load factor:
  • Aeroflot: 72.9%, -0.2 ppt;
  • Transaero: 83.6%, +6.4 ppts;
  • UTair: 69.2%, +2.6 ppts;
  • S7: 73.9%, +4.5 ppts;
  • Rossiya: 67.5%, -0.3 ppt.
