Royal Jordanian receives sixth 787

Royal Jordanian received (19-Nov-2016) its sixth Boeing 787 in Amman on 17-Nov-2016. The airline expects to receive a seventh 787 in early 2017. The carrier's first five 787s are on operational lease while the sixth and seventh are on capital lease. The 787s replace the airline's five retired A340s and two A330s, which are due to be retired soon. Royal Jordanian president and CEO Suleiman Obeidat said the 787's range and capacity makes it suitable for Asia, Europe and North America routes. [more - original PR]
