Queenstown Airport Corporation granted Requiring Authority status for Wanaka Airport

Queenstown Airport Corporation (QAC) confirmed (22-Aug-2019) it was approved as the 'Requiring Authority' for Wanaka Airport. The approval recognises QAC as the airport authority responsible for the operation, maintenance and development of the airport, and follows the awarding of a 100 year lease for the airport to QAC in Apr-2018.
