Qatar Airways unveils new Boeing 787 seats at ITB Berlin

Qatar Airways unveiled (07-Mar-2012) the new business and economy class seats for its Boeing 787 aircraft at the ITB Berlin show. The new 787s will feature a total of 254 seats in a two-class configuration with 22 business and 232 economy. All seats will include Android touch-screen technology control units and Wi-Fi and GMS connectivity enabling voice calls, text and MMS messages to be sent between passengers. Business class seats will be 22-inch wide and convert into different cradle positions before becoming an 80-inch by 30-inch flat bed. [more - original PR]
