Qatar Airways is open to competitor alliance

Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar Al Baker, speaking at the CAPA-ACTE Global Summit, stated (27-Oct-2016) the carrier has always been open to competitor alliances. He said cooperation will benefit the airline industry in general, adding that there is "so much potential" in working together than targeting each other to "mutually grow".
