Qantas introduced Brisbane-Hobart with QantasLink Boeing 717s from 04-Dec-2020 at up to four times weekly, offering more than 800 weekly seats.1 Jetstar also planned seven times weekly Hobart-Brisbane services from 01-Dec-2020, alongside increases on other Tasmanian routes.2 QantasLink’s A220 fleet renewal later saw A220s deployed on Melbourne-Hobart from 01-Jul-2024 as it replaced Boeing 717s.3
