Putin calls for private airport investors

Russia's Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, has stated the country's aviation sector requires more public-private partnerships to accommodate expected growth in the Russian aviation market (The Moscow Times, 07-Jul-2010). The government plans to spend an estimated USD10bn in programmes to develop surface and air transportation infrastructure over the next five years.
