Airports Authority of India shifted all international services to Pune Lohegaon Airport’s new terminal in Dec-20241, and moved all remaining flight operations there from 05-Mar-20252. The airport later progressed a 4000sqm security holding area expansion, with director Santosh Dhok saying it was crucial to significantly expand terminal capacity, and expected operations from Jul/Aug-2026 subject to BCAS approval after installing screening systems3.
